Welcome to Manhasset
“A Family Town”
Originally, Native Americans inhabited this land until the 1800’s when they sold the land to settlers and farmers. As people moved to Manhasset, more stores started opening on what is now Plandome Road, which helped urbanize the area. Today Manhasset is famous for its world-class shopping at the Americana “Miracle Mile”, comprised of high-end boutiques like Prada, Channel, Hermes, Gucci and plenty of restaurants.
